Tile Yield Visualizer

Tile Code
Unique SKU or shorthand the vendor uses for this specific tile style. Entering it lets everyone—from purchasing to production—trace the exact product back to price sheets, inventory bins, and re‑order history.

Color / Version
Describe the finish, colorway, or design revision (e.g., “Carrara White v2”). This prevents mix‑ups when a series has several looks or a new lot differs slightly from the original batch.

Master Length (in)
The uncut tile’s long dimension straight out of the case. Recording the master size verifies yield calculations and ensures your cuts never exceed the tile’s actual length.

Master Width (in)
The uncut tile’s short dimension. Together with master length, it defines the original piece footprint so waste and nesting can be projected accurately before any saw work begins.

Cut Length (in)
The finished long edge after trimming. Enter the exact measurement required on the sample board; the tool multiplies it to calculate how many cuts will fit from every master tile.

Cut Width (in)
The finished short edge after trimming. Entering both cut dimensions helps the tool estimate waste %, determine blade passes, and flag sizes that cannot be achieved from the supplied tile.

Swatches / Board
How many identical cut pieces you plan to glue on a single display board. This drives the total tile count by linking the board quantity to the number of swatches each board needs.

Boards Needed
Total number of sample boards in the order. Coupled with swatches‑per‑board, it scales material requirements automatically, adjusting for projects from small mock‑ups to national rollouts.

Exact Size?
Check this box when the cut size must be precise. We typically require more material. Please adjust accordingly.

Overage (%)
Built‑in safety stock to cover breakage, chipping, or future reorders. Enter 0–20 %; the calculator adds that percentage to the raw tile count so production never runs short.

Tiles Needed
The final output: total master tiles to pull from inventory or order from the factory, already factoring in cuts, boards, and overage. Use this number for purchasing and pick lists.

Inbound Tile Delivery Guidelines

What to Do Why It Matters
Ship full, factory‑sealed cartons only. Loose or partial boxes will be refused; full cartons protect edges and simplify counting.
Label every carton:
• Tile Code & Color/Version
• Lot/Batch #
• Carton Count
Accurate labels speed receiving and be sure the right material hits the right project.
Your team must verify sizes, finishes, and counts before shipping. Exalt audits but does not sort or rework mixed tiles.
Carrier assumes risk of loss at pickup; insure your freight. Exalt is not responsible for breakage, moisture, or concealed damage in transit.
Email packing list & BOL 24 hrs before arrival to project@exaltsamples.com
Include project name & PO #.
Pre‑arrival docs avoid dock delays or refusals.
